My car which is mainly used for business had the motor almost jumping out of the car. Joe took the car in and diagnosed it and had repairs done in a very short amount of time with minimal expense and I'm very pleased with the outcome. I would highly recommend Joe and his Dad for all repair work needed on your car and you can rest assured the work is being done professionally and you will not be taken advantage of and are treated like one of the family!

After notifying me they give me options to fix the problem then or maybe wait till a later date explaining any problems that may occur. The prices are kept to a minimum by using the knowledge of many years of auto repair. I have a 99 Lexus and get at least 22 mpg on the road which I feel is as good as I got or better than when the car was new. Can't ask for better than that !

My tire needed to be replaced and being an all wheel drive vehicle they needed to find the same exact tire. Well long story short it arrived promptly the next day. The tire was installed quickly ( I was in the waiting room maybe 10 mins at most) and I was on my way. Their pricing is always fair and honest.

Unfortunately mechanics are a lot like doctors in that they never have time for their own vehicles. We take our cars to West Shore when neither of the mechanics are available, or just don't feel like working on their own cars. They have never ever tried to over sell us anything!!!! Very rare for a shop today, and there have been plenty of times they could have.

I was called at home and told that they will return the tires and get a newer pair of tires (2015). Now, the mechanic had already readied the car and had to put it back together so I could pick up my car to use while I waited another day. I can't say that I was surprised because this is the type of service to attention that you can expect from West Shore. ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! My thanks to the mechanic and to the owner Joe for such attention to detail.

I receive reminders to bring in the car for maintenance and future repairs for parts that need replacing (like tires, brakes, oil change etc). I can even set up an appt. online. Recently had my rear brakes and rotors replaced Work was done quickly and with attention to detail .Without the friendly rreminders I may have forgotten to return for the replacements, thereby maybe being involved in an accident or worse. They have been my mechanics for 10 + years and have taken care of my 1999 vehicle (which I love and refuse to get rid of). This family owned and operated business is one of the treasures of Staten Island.
